Pixel Art Binary

Kia ora, hello peoples,

We have been doing a bit of binary work on some Wednesdays. This work I will be talking to you about is our Pixel Art. We had to create a 10 across, 14 down square grid and create a picture by colouring some of the squares in.

Since computers can do 2 things turn On and Off. These relate to the colours on the grid black and white. White equals 0 and black equals 1. We had to create our code for our picture by using these two numbers.

This code I did represents each row. Here is mine:

0000000000
0010001000
0001010000
0000100000
0011111000
1111111110
1111111110
1111111110
1111111110
0011111000
0000100000
0000000000
0000000000
0000000000
Looks confusing right? I struggled to get it at first but now I'm starting to get the hang of it.
Until next time!
Sophie
