Worried World

Kia ora, hello peoples,

This week in inquiry we have been looking at meanigful art. By meaningful I mean art that has a meaning, or art that shows what is happening in the world. For our task we first had to get into a group of 3 and go around 12 pictures and write down a sentence of what they mean to us.

Next we had to pick one of those pictures and write about what it means to us. The picture I chose had countries running down a drain. Here is what I thought of it:

Do you think you could help the world?
Have you ever had a look at meaningful art?

See ya later,

Yours sincerely

Sophie

  1. Hey Sophie, what a powerful post! I completely agree with you, if we keep treating the world the way we have been, the world may just end up going down the drain. I love artwork that makes you think. I think there are lots of small actions we can take in our everyday life to make a big difference to the world. Being mindful of what we are buying, what we put in the rubbish and where we put our rubbish, who we buy from. Keep up the great work and happy Friday! Caitlin :)
