Conversation Creation

Kia ora, hello peoples,

So far this term our inquiry has been based on talking to others and starting conversations with people, maybe people we haven't talked to before and finding simalarities between you and other people.

One activity we did was we went down to the hall and we all sat in the middle. One person stood up and said something they like or like to do then everyone who does that too to link arms and then the person at the end of the line calls out something they like and so on. Another time we did it we put our hands up if we did that thing and the teacher chose one person at a time so that everyone could get to choose something they like.

We also have done an animation in groups of 2-3. We had a list of 10 things about a good way to have a conversation and we had to make an animation including all 10 ways to have a better conversation.

Here is Riley's, Olivia's and my animation, I hope you like it see you next time!

Yours sincerely

Sophie

  1. Hey Sophie its Sophia,

I would just like to say well done with your animation, I really like how you explained your statements with an animation at the end of each one statement. I have learnt that I shouldn't go on about something I have brung up. So thank you, Bye.

1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post.
